These General Terms of Sale (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) govern the sale of artworks and vintage objects on the website www.master-artisans.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”). By placing an order on our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.
Master Artisans specializes in the sale, import, and export of artworks and vintage objects. The company is registered with the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce under Registration No. 917 989 576, represented by its owner.

1. Scope
These Terms apply to all sales made on the Website between Master Artisans (the “Seller”) and any individual or entity (the “Customer”).
2. Commitment of the Seller
The Seller is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction by providing high-quality products, secure transactions, and reliable delivery services. The Seller guarantees compliance with all applicable regulations, including export laws and customs requirements.
Additionally, the Seller is dedicated to transparency, fairness, and professional integrity, ensuring that all descriptions, pricing, and terms are communicated clearly.
3. Products, artworks and vintage objects
The products available on our website include exclusive artworks, contemporary and recently carved statues, decorative items, and other carefully curated artifacts and vintage objects. Each product is described as accurately as possible. While we strive to provide detailed and reliable descriptions, slight variations in color, size, or condition may occur due to the unique nature of each item.
4. Orders
4.1 Placing an Order
Orders are placed directly on the website. Customers must provide accurate and complete information during checkout. The duly completed order form constitutes an unconditional acceptance of these General Terms of Sale, which cannot be revoked.
4.2 Order Confirmation
An order confirmation email will be sent to the Customer upon receipt of payment.
The Seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order in cases of unavailability, payment issues, or suspected fraud.
5. Prices and Payment
5.1 Prices
All prices are listed in USD and include worldwide shipping via DHL and applicable taxes, unless otherwise specified. Specific and additional fees, if any, are displayed at checkout.
5.2 Payment
Payment methods include Credit Cards, PayPal, and Bank Transfers.
Payment must be received in full before the order is processed.
6. Delivery
6.1. Courier Delivery Service
To ensure a seamless delivery experience for the Customer, Master Artisans provides a door-to-door delivery service, most of the time using the international courier service DHL. Orders are shipped to the country and address specified by the Customer.
Shipping costs (excluding for our furniture) are covered by the Seller,
The delivery of the Customer’s Order will be made to the exact address provided by the Customer on the order form. In the event that no one is available to receive the order at the specified address at the time of delivery, a delivery attempt notice will be left, indicating the following:
- That a delivery attempt was made but could not be completed.
- That the Customer may contact the courier service to reschedule the delivery at a convenient date and time.
- That the Customer may choose to collect the shipment in person from the specified courier location.
The Customer is hereby informed that it is not possible to deliver to P.O. Boxes.
6.2. Estimated Date of Delivery
The door-to-door delivery timeframe varies depending on the destination and customs clearance process. Orders placed by the Customer are expected to be delivered within four weeks from the date of purchase.
The Customer acknowledges that Master Artisans strictly complies with Cambodian laws and regulations governing the export of cultural items. Most pieces require a detailed approval process, including a physical examination conducted under the authority of the Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts. Additionally, all products must obtain customs permits in accordance with regulations set by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. This compliance process, including the physical examination by the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts may take up to 15 days.
Due to these regulatory requirements and/or the occurrence of government public holidays, delivery times may occasionally be extended. However, Master Artisans is committed to keeping the Customer informed of any delays resulting from this approval process.
Once the shipment is dispatched, the Customer will receive tracking details, allowing them to track their order at every stage of the delivery process, ensuring full transparency and confidence throughout the journey.
6.3. Customs and Import Taxes
Master Artisans strictly complies with local regulations and covers all necessary export taxes and related costs associated with the exportation process.
Upon arrival at the destination, the Customer is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees incurred during delivery. The Customer is informed that Master Artisans has no control over the fees imposed by the destination country upon entry.
6.4. Risk of Damage and Loss
Each order is carefully packed to ensure safe transport, and all shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
The risk of damage, loss, and theft transfers to the Customer upon delivery of the product to the designated address.
7. Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Seller shall not be held responsible for any failure to fulfill the terms of the contract in the event of force majeure, which includes circumstances beyond its control.
As all deliveries include insurance coverage, the Seller shall not be liable for any damage, loss, or theft at the destination. These risks are covered by the insurance provided by the Courier Delivery Service.
If the artwork is delivered in a damaged condition, the Customer must notify the Seller immediately and within three (3) days of delivery, providing photos of the damaged item and/or packaging at the time of delivery. Upon receiving the notification and supporting photos, the Seller will take appropriate action with the Courier Delivery Service and will, where possible, either restore or replace the artwork with a similar product at no cost to the Customer.
The Seller’s liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product. The Seller is not responsible for any indirect damages, including loss of profit or data.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the website, including images, text, and designs, is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Cambodia, ensuring compliance with applicable legal standards. Any disputes arising from these Terms will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in Cambodia, unless otherwise required by international regulations or the mandatory laws of the Customer’s country of residence.
