She symbolizes the victory of good over evil, the triumph of light over darkness, and the empowering essence of the divine feminine. The original sandstone masterpiece, crafted in the early 7th century in a pre-Angkorian style, reflects Indian artistic influence, with firm, opulent curves that emphasize feminine beauty. The missing head draws attention to the dynamic stance, a hallmark of pre-Angkorian art, capturing movement and grace. This faithful replica, made from archaeological restoration cement, was cast directly from the original housed in the National Museum of Cambodia in Phnom Penh, preserving the intricate craftsmanship and enduring cultural significance of this Khmer masterpiece.
